Posdata Sidra - Clásico
Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua and Guadalajara, Jalisco
Dry, Light, Crisp
Posdata Sidra represents the culmination of years of effort to create a Mexican cider that is clean, bone dry, and entirely refreshing. The Northern Mexican state of Chihuahua has had a long history of producing ciders because of the extensive planting of apple orchards along the foothills of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains near the famous Barranca de Cobre. Historically, however, these ciders tended to be overly sweet and almost exclusively consumed around the holidays. The founder of Sidra Posdata wanted to disrupt the pattern within Mexico, creating a light bodied and fully dry cider that could be consumed year round and which would be ideal to represent the delicious characteristics of Mexican apples, “lo bueno de la manzana Mexicana”.
