Dizeres Branco is a fresh, unaged, and approachable white blend from the Alentejo region that features a classic blend of two indigenous Portuguese varietals, Antão Vaz and Arinto. These two grape varieties work together in beautiful harmony to create a wine that is both quaffable and complex. The Antão Vaz, a staple of central and southern Portugal, produces characteristics of tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, and lima along with somewhat honeyed overtones. Arinto serves to emphasize some of these rounder flavors like honey and beeswax while also providing an intense acidic structure and elements of lemon zest to cut through the richer flavors and provide a wine that is mouth-wateringly acidic, balanced, and refreshing even in the hot summers of the Alentejo.
